BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Bring your child and their friends to our farm to celebrate their birthday with our horses!! Parties include a hands on learning experience that teaches children about the needs of horses, including shelter and feed needs.  Children learn about grooming a horse, how to feed a treat  and have the opportunity to ride a horse.  Additional activities such as Hay Wagon Rides, Craft projects are available depending on the party package you choose.     Signed Liability Waivers and closed toe shoes required.  Participating Children -ages 3 and up; observers of any age welcome!!

​PONY TIME  and PONY TIME UNIVERSITY classes


Designed for families with young children to enjoy time with a horse without the long term commitment of riding lessons. Classes are designed to be educational and hands-on. These classes can be adopted to meet the needs of Head Start programs, Brownie/Cub/Girl/Boy Scout Organizations, Home School programs, Playgroups and Preschools. We are an approved vendor for the National Girl Scouts and can tailor our classes to meet your badge needs or to create a fun outing for your troop.

 Pony Time Class is a one time class that gives the students an overview of the care needs of a horse, including shelter and feed needs. Children have direct interaction with the horse to learn about grooming, how to feed treats and the class ends with a pony ride.  

Pony Time University is a 3 session course that covers information in Pony Time classes and provides more opportunities for children to learn about horses. For example, in one class students learns how to give a pony a bath. All classes end with pony rides.  

 For ages 3 years and above Minimum of 4 to a class so grab some friends and come out the barn. Reservations required.

​Cost : Pony Time Class-First Child $25; each sibling $20      Pony University Class- $60 per child for a set of  3  classess
SUMMER 2019 DATES FOR PONY TIME: May 18; June 1, June 22; July 6, July 20; August 10.  All classes begin at 11:00 am and last approximately 1 hour.







LESSONS


We offer balanced seat English riding instruction.  With an emphasis on safety, our instructors teach proper use of aids creating a partnership with the horse, while developing confidence and solid skills.  We offer semi private lessons with up to 3 riders per class  and no large group lessons.  From very beginning riders to the more advance looking to refresh their skills our horses and team of instructors are here to help to make your riding time enjoyable.  General horsemanship skills such as haltering, leading and grooming are taught as part of the class for brand new riders.

Summer Camps

We offer 2 levels of 1/2 day general horsemanship camps. Both camps include basic riding elements along with caring for the horse, crafts, nature walks and general outdoor fun.

Beginner camps are for those who have had little  interaction with horses. We teach children the basics of horse care including grooming, tacking, handling and basic riding skills.

Advanced camps are for those kids who can handle a horse and can trot independently.  The camps add to the riders basic horsemanship skills while encouraging their independence while working with the horses.

Both camps run from 9:30-1 pm. Participants are to pack a lunch. Snacks provided. $350.00 per week. Please call to reserve your spot!! DATES 2020  Beginner Dates: June 22-26; July 6-10; 13-17  ; August  3-7;  Advanced- 27-31
